Personal data we process

Care4Careers processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process:

  • First and last name
  • Internet browser and device type
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • IP address
  • Location data

Special and/or sensitive personal data we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16, unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore encourage parents to be involved in their children's online activities in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without that consent, please contact us at info@care4careers.nl and we will delete this information.

Care4Careers processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Sending our newsletter and/or advertising material
  • Being able to call or email you if this is necessary to carry out our services
  • Care4Careers analyses your behaviour on the website in order to improve the website and to tailor our range of products and services to your preferences.

Automated decision-making

Care4Careers does not make decisions based on automated processing that could have (significant) consequences for individuals.

How long we retain personal data

Care4Careers does not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected.

Sharing personal data with third parties

Care4Careers only shares data with third parties when this is necessary to perform our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

Cookies, or similar techniques, that we use

We use Google Analytics to track how visitors use our website. We have entered into a data processing agreement with Google. IP addresses are anonymised, and data is not shared with other Google services.

  • Functional cookies: these are necessary for the website to function properly.
  • Analytical cookies (Google Analytics): these collect anonymised data about the use of the website in order to improve our services. We have configured Google Analytics in a privacy-friendly way in accordance with the guidelines of the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

Accessing, amending or deleting data

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw any consent you have given for the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Care4Careers, and you have the right to data portability.

You can send a request to access, correct, delete or transfer your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or to object to the processing of your personal data, to info@care4careers.nl.

To make sure that the request for access was made by you, we ask you to enclose a copy of your identity document with the request. In this copy, please black out your photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but within four weeks.
