Career coaching: professional guidance for your career
What is career coaching?
You meet the same coach each time, with a few weeks between appointments so there is room to try something out. The number of sessions hangs on the type of question: settling a decision is done in a couple of goes, working out which direction fits asks for a longer breath.
Between sessions you take away assignments that play out beyond the consulting room. Looking up someone who does the work that appeals to you yields more than another test, because you hear what the day genuinely looks like.
What the programme contains is on the service page, and what a scan produces at the career scan.

You will find us at Saal van Zwanenbergweg, on the business park west of the centre and minutes from the A58. Employment here sits largely in logistics, manufacturing and education, with the university, Fontys and the hospital as the big names. What shapes someone's search is rarely the sector they came from; it is the role they held within it and how transferable that role turns out to be.
People call us with career questions that look alike at first sight. One knows exactly what they want but cannot get in; another has the door open but does not know which way to go. Those are two different programmes, asking for a different number of sessions, and pulling them apart in the first hour saves everyone time.
About Tilburg
Good to know about Tilburg
Distribution at scale, and it is shifting
The estates on the west and north side house distribution centres of considerable size. Automation is well under way, so roles are disappearing on the floor and appearing in planning, maintenance and systems management.
Three education institutions side by side
The university, Fontys and Avans are a major employer between them, and not only for lecturers. Timetabling, student administration, IT and facilities cover hundreds of roles here.
Three cities within half an hour
Breda, Den Bosch and Eindhoven are each about half an hour's drive. Anyone drawing their circle that wide is effectively looking at the whole Brabant labour market rather than at one city.
Saal van Zwanenbergweg, close to the A58
The car goes at the door and a bus comes out from the station. Skipping the trip is fine; the sessions then run on screen.
Stuck on the choice
You can do plenty, but you do not know what to look for. Then we work from broad to narrow: first rule out what it is not, then explore what remains. That takes more sessions than a decision question and produces a direction you can explain yourself.
Stuck on the way in
You have the goal in focus, only the door will not open. That is not a question of direction but of access, and the work then sits in your profile, in who you already know and in the way you approach employers. See also networking to find work.
While your contract still runs
The calmest moment to work this out is when nothing is at stake yet. You have time to try something without a deadline hanging over it, and that shows in the choices you make.
When logistics reorganises
If a whole team has to move at once, everyone goes after the same vacancies. Whoever knows first which way they want to go has a head start that owes nothing to luck.
What does career coaching at Care4Careers look like?
No fixed package
The content follows from your question; we do not work with standard packages.
Alongside you see what happens in practice, step by step.
If it runs differently than expected, the order moves with it. That happens more often than not.
Intake conversation
You explain what made you pick up the phone now; together we settle which of the two questions this is.
Who am I? Why do I work? What can I do?
Tests and assignments map where you are strong, what gets you going and in which setting those two come together.
What do I want?
Directions that appeal go on the table. After that we hold them against the work that genuinely exists in Midden-Brabant and beyond.
Drawing up a plan of action
What comes first and what can wait is yours to decide. We attach dates to it and mark a moment to check whether it held.
Making the next step happen
The step is yours; we stay reachable until it is settled that it worked out.
What you are working towards
The question you came in with turns out sharper than it looked, and the step that follows from it is one you chose yourself.
The questions that arise
Where does it falter?
If more than one fits you, take on the first. That one tends to block the rest.
You have to choose between two things
Two offers, or staying against leaving. Few sessions, hard criteria, and a decision at the end that you stand behind yourself.
The direction is still open
The broad question. Exploring helps more than thinking here: talking to people, shadowing, taking tests. We wrote what kind of work suits me about that.
You know, but you cannot get there
Not a question of direction but of access. Your profile, your network and a deliberate approach to employers do the work here.
You want to see what you are capable of
What you are capable of and what sets you in motion is on paper after a career scan. You keep the report and can use it again at a next step.

When your departure is settled
If a dismissal is in play, the question changes
A forced departure feels like a line drawn, while something begins with it at the same time. Coaching turns that change into a choice. You do not sit with the uncertainty but look into what is still in it for you.
When the employer pays, it falls under outplacement, which includes more than the sessions.
Who thinks along with you
Career coaches at the Saal van Zwanenbergweg
You keep one coach, from the first hour to the last. They first establish what kind of question you are sitting with and let the number of sessions follow from that. What you get from a the role of the career coach we worked out. Meet at the Saal van Zwanenbergweg or on screen.

Frequently asked questions
Questions about career coaching in Tilburg
How much time am I in for?
Getting a choice sharp usually takes two sessions. Searching for a direction runs two to four months; four to six sessions fit inside that.
What does it cost?
The floor sits at 1,000 euros excluding VAT; the more extensive the programme, the higher the amount. Our prices per form are stated on The costs page. The introductory conversation carries no charge.
Will my employer contribute?
More often than people expect. Many collective agreements hold a training or career budget, and employers agree to it regularly. We put on paper what it involves and what it costs, so you have something concrete to present.
Can it be done online?
Yes. If you work in Breda, Den Bosch or Eindhoven, a daytime appointment in Tilburg is rarely possible to schedule. Certainly, online career coaching is open to you.
What if halfway through I find it has to go differently?
That happens and it is no obstacle. If the question turns out along the way to have been a different one, we turn the plan around. You pay for the sessions you take, not for a package you sit out.
Where is Care4Careers in Tilburg?
Saal van Zwanenbergweg 11, 5026 RM Tilburg, on the business park on the west side and quick to reach by car. Let us know before you come and a coach who knows your field will be there.
Which surrounding towns are included?
Waalwijk, Oisterwijk, Goirle, Dongen, Rijen and Loon op Zand fall under this location. Half an hour brings you to Breda, Den Bosch or Eindhoven, and those come into play the moment your search area shifts that way.
I doubt whether my question belongs here.
That is what the introductory conversation is for, and it is free and without obligation. Within an hour you know whether a few sessions will do or whether something needs working out first. If it turns out to be neither, we say so plainly.
Can I work through this at my own pace?
Yes. The sessions are not fixed to a weekly rhythm; the gap between two appointments is the time you need to try something. Anyone caught up in a busy season moves a session without the programme grinding to a halt.
Do you have another question about career coaching? Feel free to get in touch for a no-obligation conversation.
