Second-Track Reintegration
Reintegration agency in Eindhoven
Can your employee no longer return to their own work? Then speed counts. A second track that starts early connects better to the employers in this region. Care4Careers guides both employee and employer, from feasibility study to placement, with a case file that holds up to UWV scrutiny.

Trusted by organisations that invest in their people

Track 2 explained
Suitable work elsewhere, found before the clock runs out.
If an employee cannot return to their own work and nothing suitable exists internally, second-track reintegration begins. The aim is a new direction, restored confidence and visible steps in the labour market. The content of the programme has its own page.
For the employer this is a statutory obligation, and it is moreover the way to prevent long-term absence and a sanction from the UWV.
Our office
Second-track reintegration in Eindhoven and nearby
From our location on the Noord Brabantlaan, on the west side of the city, Care4Careers supports employees and employers in Eindhoven and nearby. The job market here runs on high tech, manufacturing and the supply chain around it, alongside a large healthcare sector and substantial logistics employment near the A2 and A67. That makes the region full of opportunity, but also sensitive to the cycles of a handful of major clients. Our coaches know that rhythm and translate it into realistic steps.
Second-track reintegration in Eindhoven frequently involves employees from production, logistics or healthcare who can no longer sustain their own work physically or mentally. Suitable work elsewhere is usually available in this region, but it calls for an honest assessment of what someone can handle and for employers willing to think along. We make sure the case file meets the Dutch Gatekeeper Improvement Act along the way, so a UWV wage sanction does not follow.
About Eindhoven
Good to know about Eindhoven
Engineering drives the region
From engineering and machine building to production and maintenance: technical profiles tend to find work relatively quickly around Eindhoven. We map which of your skills are immediately usable there.
A lot of work happens in English
On the campuses and at international employers, English is often the working language. Several of our coaches work in English, so international employees in Eindhoven are well served too.
On location or online
Our location on the Noord Brabantlaan sits close to the N2 and is easy to reach by car and public transport. If you live further out, in Helmond, Veldhoven or Valkenswaard, coaching can also be fully online.
Employers are close together
When defining your search area, we look at the commuting time that is realistic for you. This helps determine which employers and working locations fit within your practical preferences.
From physical to suitable work
Shift work, lifting and standing jobs are common in south-east Brabant. We look specifically for roles at regional employers where the workload matches what someone can still manage.
What the programme looks like
From intake to aftercare, step by step
A second track programme at Care4Careers offers structure, perspective and personal guidance towards suitable work with another employer. Every programme is tailored to the employee and meets the requirements of the Gatekeeper Act and the UWV.
Intake meeting and situation overview
The first conversation produces an action plan that both the employee and the UWV can move forward with. To get there, we ask at length about what is medically possible, what experience there is and which way someone wants to go.
Capacity analysis & occupational health assessment
Analysing the FML and the other medical documents produces a clear answer on what work stays feasible. Out of that comes a reintegration plan with testable goals, plus a monthly report for employer, company doctor and UWV.
Career scan & personal coaching
Tests, assignments and conversations together produce a search profile that is usable outside the employee's own organisation. Along the way the employee gets a grip on their talents and drivers, sees where their limits lie and wins back confidence.
Labour market exploration & job matching
Laying profile and labour market side by side produces a list of real directions: work that suits the capacity and that actually exists. Where the distance is too great, a reintegration place or work experience place provides the step in between. The room here lies with manufacturing, IT and healthcare, and that decides where we look first.
Active job search & network approach
Approaching deliberately yields more than responding to adverts. The network, the direct approach and the vacancies that appear nowhere come into view, supported by CV, LinkedIn and interview preparation. Weekly, coach and employee discuss what it has yielded. We take in the surrounding municipalities the same way, so the search area does not stop at the city boundary.
Aftercare and sustainable placement
The aftercare delivers the last piece of certainty. For two months the coach is reachable for whatever comes up in the new place, and the reports and the closing reintegration report go to the UWV as required there.
In this region
What a second track looks like here
Track 2 in this region usually means moving from a physically demanding role in production, logistics or healthcare to work that is sustainable. That calls for a realistic picture of what someone can handle and for knowing which nearby employers genuinely have room.
Feasibility study in Eindhoven
Before starting the second track, we examine whether returning to the current employer still stands a chance. In a region with many large employers, internal redeployment is sometimes still possible, and that saves everyone a long programme. What such a study involves is set out under what a feasibility study is.
Guidance towards suitable work in the region
We look for work that matches what someone can handle and lies within a reasonable travel distance. Between Eindhoven, Veldhoven, Best, Son, Geldrop and Helmond that is almost always possible without moving house. The rebuilding normally happens on a work experience placement in track 2.
A file that survives the Gatekeeper assessment
We record every step and coordinate with the company doctor, the occupational health service and the case manager. That protects the employer from a wage sanction and gives the employee clarity for the WIA application. What belongs in the closing report is listed under drafting the reintegration report.
Practical help with applying
Many employees in track 2 have not applied for a job in years. We work on the CV, on interviews and on how to explain the absence, so an employer sees what someone can still do. That includes interview training.
What we are working towards
What someone can still manage has been the starting point, and the work that comes out of it takes that into account.
Our approach: personal, local and results-driven
Why Care4Careers in Eindhoven
A second track only works when it fits both the person and the labour market around the corner. In south-east Brabant that means knowing the regional employers, knowing where adapted work is possible, and keeping the file in order from day one.
Reintegration agency with regional expertise
Our coaches work from Eindhoven and know the employers in the Brainport region, from the large production sites to the healthcare institutions and the logistics companies along the A2 and A67.
Tailored second-track reintegration
We start with an honest conversation about what someone can still manage. A second track that begins with too rosy a picture stalls later anyway, and that costs employer and employee alike. An occupational expert assessment gives that conversation its evidence.
Second track and career guidance with a future focus
Shift work, lifting and standing jobs are the most common causes of absence in this region. We know which roles offer an alternative without someone having to leave their field entirely.
Career advice and support towards new work
We report in a way that lets UWV follow what was done and why. That spares employers in Eindhoven a wage sanction and prevents disputes after the fact. That is how you avoid a UWV wage sanction.
Sustainable employability through coaching and reintegration
Guidance can take place at our Noord Brabantlaan location or fully online. For someone with limited capacity, a short journey genuinely matters.
Outplacement and second track with personal attention
Where needed we coach in English, which comes up regularly in a region with this many international employees.
Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about reintegration
When does a second-track programme in Eindhoven start?
Usually around the first-year evaluation, once it becomes clear that returning to the current role or another role with the current employer will not work. Waiting until later in the second year of illness makes the programme shorter and the risk of a sanction higher. How long it runs after that is under how long track 2 takes.
What work is realistic in this region if my own role is too demanding?
That depends on the limitations, but the region offers relatively many options. Think of work preparation, quality control, planning, service desk or a supporting role, often with employers in the same sector someone comes from.
What does a track 2 programme cost an employer in Eindhoven?
Track 2 opens here at 2,300 euro excluding VAT and climbs as the programme runs longer and more intensively. You have the quote in advance, so you know the cost upfront, including the reports that belong with the file. For comparison: the cost of a sick employee runs a good deal higher.
How do we avoid a UWV wage sanction?
By starting on time, recording every step and demonstrably searching broadly. We deliver the reports UWV expects and coordinate with the company doctor, so the file is complete at the RIV assessment. The arithmetic behind such a sanction sits under the cost of a wage sanction.
Can the guidance take place at our own premises?
Guidance runs on location or online. Care4Careers has more than 55 locations across the Netherlands, Eindhoven among them, so for employees with limited capacity there is nearly always somewhere close by.
Where can I find Care4Careers in Eindhoven?
Our location is Noord Brabantlaan 265, 5652 LD Eindhoven. Visits are possible by appointment, so we can match you with the right coach.
Do you also work in the area around Eindhoven?
Yes. From Eindhoven we support people right across south-east Brabant, including Veldhoven, Best, Son, Nuenen, Geldrop and Helmond, both on location and online.
Do you work with the employer's occupational health service in Eindhoven?
Yes. We coordinate with the company doctor, the occupational health service and the case manager, and we deliver the reports that belong in the reintegration file, so neither employer nor employee is caught out at the UWV assessment.
